International Transaction Limit:

As per recent RBI guidelines, effective 1st December 2013, following changes are applicable on your internationally accepted magnetic stripe based debit card:

• here will be a daily international transaction limit of up to Rs. 50,000 per day.
• This limit is applicable on all international transactions made at ATMs, merchant outlets or websites, individually or in aggregate.
• Your daily domestic transaction limit continues to remain the same.

In case you need to make international transactions above Rs. 50,000 in a day, we request you to apply for an ING chip based debit card through our Phone Banking at 1860 266 2666 or by visiting a branch near you. (Issuance charges apply)

Note for magnetic stripe based cards issued before November 30th 2013

In case you make an international transaction after 1st Dec 2013 on your existing magnetic stripe based debit card, you will be automatically re-carded with an ING chip based debit card, at no extra cost.

This card will be issued 30 days from the date of international transaction.

In case you transact or wish to transact internationally with your ING debit card, we recommend you apply for a Chip Based Debit Card by visitng a branch near you.

A chip card also adds an extra level of security to your card against skimming and Counterfeit frauds.

• ING Chip based Debit Card is accepted worldwide at International ATMs, Merchant outlets and websites.
• All transactions will have an additional level of security, as your card is Chip & PIN enabled.
• It is almost impossible to replicate the data stored in the Chip, hence reducing the risk of counterfeit and frauds.
